Quality Control Technician 2023 Reporting to the Quality Manager, the responsibility of this position is to ensure that quality team is supported throughout a seven-day, 12-hour work week. This position focuses on calibrations, testing and tracking of critical control points and sensory testing set up. This is a support position that supports all employees of PEIBC in regards to growing and expanding our operations. Activities to include: Ongoing awareness and adherence to CFIA guidelines Ongoing calibrations to ensure quality control data is accurate Cell counts, cell viability and microbiological plating Microbiological sampling and classical plate counts Evaluation of microbiological plates Daily testing of beer on packaging and quality parameters and data entry into EKOS brewery management software Total package oxygen analysis of can and bottle production runs Receiving, assessing and tracking of returned/defective products Communicating findings of returned/defective products to interested parties Clear and concise communication with brewers and packaging staff
