Future Skills Regional Sounding Tour

Time: 12 PM - 2:45
Location: Centre For Applied Science & Technology

On February 12, Holland College, in partnership with The Conference Board of Canada and the Business/Higher Education Roundtable, will co-convene the PEI Regional Sounding, an event intended to give individuals, businesses, and organizations in the province’s skills and training community the opportunity to discuss the future skills needs of the region.

This free event will include a brief introduction to the Future Skills Centre’s mandate and objectives. Following that, voice your thoughts and ideas in small group conversations about how the Future Skills Centre can best support the province today for workforce opportunities of the future.

By registering and participating you will be joining a pan-Canada stakeholder network focused on the future of work in Canada. Please join us to share your perspective on the diverse future skills needs of the province and the region.

The Future Skills Centre aims to identify emerging in-demand skills across the country, with the goal of helping Canadians prepare for a changing workforce. This cross-Canada tour will engage diverse communities to hear from you about your region’s priorities. This information will help inform the Future Skills Centre’s research and investment strategies. The event, which is being facilitated by The Conference Board of Canada on behalf of the Future Skills Centre, is one of several regional soundings taking place in communities across the country.
