NOTE: In order to complete this online application form, a valid credit card (Visa or Mastercard) is required. If you do not have a valid credit card, a paper version of this application form is available to download and print, which then must be submitted directly to the Registrar's Office.

Applicants for shared apartments (two and three bedroom units) will be matched as closely as possible based on the student profile (age/gender/programs, etc.). Occupancy is based on a one person per bed policy. Students are encouraged to find their own roommate(s), whenever possible. The College often gets requests from students who wish to contact their assigned roommate(s) prior to arrival in order to work out details around potential shared items or travel plans. We require your permission to release your name, phone number and email address to your assigned roommate(s). Please check one of the following boxes:

Holland College is pleased to offer a smoke free residence in the Charlottetown area. Please note: All costs including a $500 damage deposit are due and payable at registration. Fees are quoted on an academic year (Sept - April). Residence fees do not include the Christmas vacation period. Tenants are expected to vacate their rooms within 24 hours of the last day of classes. Special arrangements for off-campus accommodations, at the student's own cost, may be made for students who require accommodations over this period. Application must be made in writing to the Accommodations Manager by December 1.

Holland College Residence

Type 1 - One bedroom apartment
Type 2 - Two bedroom apartment
Type 3 - Three bedroom apartment

Apartment fees include all furniture, appliances, TV, cable, internet and local telephone service. Students are responsible for their own bed linens, towels, kitchen utensils and toiletries. Room cleaning supplies are provided for the student's use.

Students can only be accepted into a Holland College Residence after the Admissions Office has accepted them into a College program. Applications are considered in the order in which they are received. Initial residence application review date is February 28th. Once the facility is full, students will be placed on an accommodations waiting list. Once a unit or bedroom has been offered in the Residence, a confirmation deposit of $500 must be submitted to the Holland College Admissions Office on or before April 30th unless a different date is specified in your acceptance letter. This deposit will be applied toward the student's first accommodations fee installment and is non-refundable. The $500 damage deposit will be refunded when the student withdraws from the facility or at the end of the term provided the room is in the same condition as on the move-in date (with exception of normal wear). For complete details on the College's refund policy regarding accommodation fees please refer to the Holland College Student Accommodations Handbook.

The College Accommodations Office reserves the right to: (1) make regulations covering all aspects of student residence living; (2) refuse an application for accommodation; (3) cancel accommodations privileges; (4) reassign students to other rooms for reasons it deems appropriate; (5) balance first/second year populations and male/female ratios in the Facility and on Facility floors; (6) allocate rooms independent of this process under special circumstances; (7) deny applications for re-admittance to the Holland College Accommodations Facility.

This application is for accommodations covering the duration of the full academic year beginning at College registration in September and ending on April 30th. Alternate arrangements may be made for students enrolled in programs with different start and end dates.

Should you, the student, accept an offer for accommodations in the Holland College Residence, your acceptance of that offer will constitute an agreement between you and Holland College and is deemed to take effect at the time you register for Accommodations. Your acceptance of this agreement means you have agreed to pay the full amount of the residence fees required for the academic year described on this form or as otherwise agreed to under the alternate start and end date arrangements that have been agreed to. Prior to being granted admission into the Facility you will be asked to read the Holland College Student Accommodations Handbook and sign a Student Accommodations Agreement signifying your agreement to comply with the accommodations rules and regulations.

I certify all of the information provided by me on this application form and any other document provided by me or on my behalf, that forms part of this application to be true and correct to the best of my knowledge, information and belief. I hereby acknowledge I have read all the information contained in this form and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out herein and the provisions of Holland College Policy related to Student Accommodations.
