Mental Health Awareness Award for Primary Care Paramedicine

Description: The Mental Health Awareness Award for Primary Care Paramedicine was established by a donor whose goal is to help students with the cost of their education and to highlight the importance of self-care (and care of others) in mental health, in an industry where it is sometimes forgotten that caretakers need to also take care of themselves.

Criteria: Students must apply for the award. Applications to include a completed Application Form, including the Financial Information Section, and include a short essay (approximately half a page) describing the importance of mental health wellness, with tips for themselves and others. Academics and financial need are considerations. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by the College Registrar.
