Description: These awards have been established for Holland College School of Performing Arts students who aspire to careers in the performing arts but who face financial barriers, who show promise as aspiring artists, or who are exceptional talents in the performing arts industry.
Criteria: Each award will have a minimum value of $1,000 and a maximum value of full tuition for that academic year. These awards will be given to incoming, first-year students accepted into one of Holland College's School of Performing Arts programs. Successful recipients will aspire to careers in the performing arts but face financial barriers, show promise as aspiring artists, or are exceptional talents in the performing arts industry. Students must apply for the award. Applications are to include a completed Application Form (including the Financial Information section, if applicable), and a personal statement outlining his/her fit as a candidate. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by the College Registrar with representation from the School of Performing Arts.
