CIBC Youthvision Scholarship Program

Description: The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage the pursuit of post-secondary education among students who are involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC) and YMCA Canada. Students must be in Grade 10 (Sec. IV for Quebec students) and currently enrolled in a mentoring program through a BBBSC or YMCA member agency. There are two parts to the CIBC Youthvision Scholarship Program, which is valued at up to $34,000 per student: a post-secondary scholarship that covers tuition and compulsory fees up to $4,000 per year for up to four years; and a summer internship opportunity through YMCA Canada, with a total stipend worth up to $18,000 over the term of the program.
