Description: The executive chef and general manager of the three resort properties on PEI will choose the recipients.
Criteria: Must be a second year Culinary Arts student who has successfully completed a summer work contract at one of the Rodd Signature properties. The properties are: Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort, Rodd Brudenell River Resort and Rodd Mill River, Rodd Charlottetown, Rodd Miramichi River Resort or Rodd Grand Yarmouth. A combination of completion of employment contract, academic achievement, financial need, and interest and aptitude for work in the hospitality industry must be demonstrated. Student must have a favorable rating on the Tourism and Culinary Centres Summary Assessment Internship form. Also, they must have a favorable letter of reference from the Resort Chef.
