About Our Partner

The School of Performing Arts combines the significant strengths and national reputations of two well-established institutions, Holland College and Confederation Centre of the Arts. Confederation Centre of the Arts was founded in 1964 as Canada’s national memorial to the Fathers of Confederation, who gathered at Province House in Charlottetown in 1864 to discuss the creation of Canada. Dedicated to showcasing the best in Canadian visual and performing arts, this award-winning national arts centre is home to the internationally renowned Charlottetown Festival, one of the country’s most well-known theatre festivals.
